“No one should remain in a prison of silence unnecessarily.” – 13 year-old nonspeaking client

Is your child nonspeaking?

That isn’t easy.

It isn’t easy for you, as you wonder if you’ll ever know what your child is thinking. And it isn’t easy for your child, as they are without a way to effectively communicate their thoughts, feelings, and desires.

Let me help you reach your child.

SPELLibrate is about helping the child build the skills they need for reliable communication, while simultaneously equipping the parents to work with their child.

At SPELLibrate, we presume competence, with the goal of reliable communication. Using S2C (Spelling to Communicate), we systematically move through a progression of letter boards and question types, gradually building skill and accuracy.

Testimonials

Our family has been immeasurably blessed by Cynthia's tireless work with our son. Her consistency, patience, and perseverance has unlocked the potential that has always been inside our son. We are so thankful for her heart to bring communication to everyone who needs it.
-Parent of a 13-year-old nonspeaker
Our nonspeaking son, (age 7) began working with Cynthia last summer using S2C. In less than a year, he has made amazing progress. I was nearly in tears when he showed us that he could spell his own name. As parents, we were naïve and underestimated our son’s true potential. He understands far more than he can express. We are excited to see what he can do in the future as he works toward communicating on his own. The hope of seeing our son interact with people independently wouldn’t be possible without S2C and the dedicated and gifted teacher he has in Cynthia.
-Parent of a 7-year-old nonspeaker
I have always presumed that Mark was absorbing everything around him. I have been looking for years for a way to teach him to communicate so that we could talk. S2C has given me new hope to make this a reality!
